About Dr Roshan Dalpadado
Dr Roshan Dalpadado is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor and Cosmetic Physician with dual postgraduate training in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Training and Qualifications
Dr Roshan graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours (2020) and a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (2019).
He holds a Diploma in Dermatology and a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from Bond University, alongside Advanced Certificates in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery through the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA).
With over 500 skin cancer and surgical procedures performed, Dr Roshan brings strong procedural experience and diagnostic precision to every consultation. He is known for his methodical approach and close attention to detail, focused on getting the right diagnosis first, then building a treatment plan around it.
Clinical focus at Canberra Skin
Dr Roshan’s care is distinguished by his ability to bridge medical and aesthetic skin work, bringing the same precision to a cosmetic injectable that he brings to a surgical excision.
On the skin cancer side, he uses DermEngine high-definition imaging for full body skin checks, performs the full range of biopsies and excisions in-clinic, and manages more complex surgical reconstructions including flap repairs and skin grafts. Where surgery isn’t required, he is experienced in topical and cream-based treatment protocols for superficial skin cancers and sun-damaged skin.
In aesthetic medicine, Dr Roshan works within a fully medically assessed framework. Patient history is reviewed before any treatment is recommended, and every plan is built around individual clinical need. He has a particular interest in non-surgical facial treatments and approaches aesthetic consultations with the same rigour he applies to skin cancer medicine.
A note on referrals and Medicare
Dr Roshan is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor and Cosmetic Physician rather than a specialist dermatologist. Medicare rebates may apply for medically-indicated skin cancer services. Cosmetic services are not subsidised by Medicare and are entirely private billing.
Where a specialist dermatology opinion or surgical alternative is more appropriate, Dr Roshan is committed to honest, collaborative referral pathways.
When you’ll see him
Dr Roshan consults at Canberra Skin and Aesthetics on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
